assistance FAQs

Do I have to take part in a work activity to receive benefits from the Prevention, Retention and Contingency program?

Yes. Anyone that is approved for the Prevention, Retention and Contingency (PRC) program must sign a self sufficiency contract and plan and must follow the plan. This plan would have things on it that would help you not need to use PRC again. There is no specific hour requirement attached to PRC.
