If my family decides to become a foster home, will I have to take any child your agency calls us about?
No. As a foster family, you will always have the ability to say no to a request from our agency regarding a child coming into custody. Our staff understand that there are situations that may not be appropriate for placement of a child in a particular home and work hard to make a good match for the child as well as the foster home. Successful placements are critical to the goal of reunifying the child with their family.
