children & families FAQs

I am living with my boyfriend. He has his children and I have mine. Can we get subsidized child care? Does his income count against me?

Yes, you would both be able to apply for subsidized child care and would each have your own separate case IF he is not the father of your children. If he is the father of your child, you would all be considered one family and all income would be counted together for eligibility. Please contact the agency and speak to a child care worker for more specific case specific information.
